Dr. Teresa Lei was born and raised in Medicine Hat. She began her studies in Kinesiology at the Medicine Hat College before transferring to the University of Alberta. She then attended the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2020.

Growing up, Dr. Teresa was very active in the fine arts, taking a variety of music and dance lessons. In high school, she became more active in sports, competing in cross country, badminton, and track & field. During undergrad, she began training in powerlifting and has competed in several competitions, breaking a handful of records in the process.

Dr. Teresa’s approach to care is focusing on the person as a whole. This means finding and treating the underlying cause in addition to the presenting symptoms. She uses a variety of techniques including chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapies, rehabilitation & strengthening exercises, and patient education. She has also taken additional adjusting and rehabilitation seminars to further enhance her skill set, including Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), McKenzie Method (MDT), and Motion Palpation Institute (MPI) courses. Her goal is to get you back to moving your best and doing what you love.

In her spare time, Dr. Teresa enjoys hiking, working out, and baking treats for friends & family.

Jess is a born and raised Medicine Hat local! Adventuring out to Calgary in 2017 to obtain her education at a 3000-hour Clinical Advanced Massage Therapy College! Jess’ massage journey started at just 10 years old! Jess always wanted to help alleviate her family and friends day to day aches/pains and create tranquility. At age 12, Jess started receiving Massage Therapy for her own chronic pain and was ecstatic in the results massage continued to have in her pain management.

Jess has multiple years of hands on experience with numerous body types, pathologies, injuries and mind/body connections. By taking all knowledge from her educational and in field experiences, Jess has crafted her own treatment to apply with her clientele. Combining the desire of all massage needs into one treatment; “Flow of relaxation. Pressure of deep tissue. Touch + Results of therapeutic.” In addition to Jess’ 3000 college hours, she has also obtained additional continuing education/courses! Jess has been trained to offer more; Myofascial Cupping, Myofascial Release, Hot Stone Therapy, TMJ, Indian Head Massage (in training!). More courses scheduled to be offered soon! Megan Sehn is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Kinesiology and a Minor in Psychology with Great Distinction as well as a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy in 2016. As a U of S student, Megan began volunteering as an team trainer working with a variety of teams and acting as a mentor to other trainers when she was accepted into the School of Physical Therapy. She was recognized by the CIS for her contribution to sport while maintaining her Great Distinction in Academia. Megan had the opportunity to live, work, and conduct research in a remote Indigenous community. The research team she contributed to was published in the Spring 2019 edition of Physiotherapy Canada.

Since graduating and returning to her hometown of Medicine Hat, Megan has worked for two multidisciplinary private health care clinics for a combination of 5 years as well most recently in the public system with AHS for the past 2.5 years. Megan has also instructed in the Therapist Assistant Program at Medicine Hat College for 6 years where she also provided sport medical coverage to their athletic teams from 2016-2019. In 2017, Megan became a certified Sport First Responder and has spent the past 4 years volunteering as a team trainer for local 18UAA and 17UAAA hockey clubs. In the fall of 2023 Megan was trained in Female Urinary Incontinence and is certified to perform the restricted activity of Pelvic Floor Internal Examinations. She has also taken continuing education in the areas of concussion management, wheelchair seating and prescription, low back and hip pain management, advanced taping techniques, and a variety of other treatment and management techniques.

Alysha graduated from the Lethbridge Massage Therapy program (2200 hours) in 2019. Alysha was a competitive gymnast growing up, so she understands the importance of taking care of your body and has a good understanding of injury prevention. Alysha specializes in relaxation, Therapeutic, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy. Since graduating Alysha has taken training in myofascial cupping and gua sha. Gua sha is a natural, alternative therapy that involves scrapping your skin with a massage tool to improve your circulation. Alysha is also trained in pre and postnatal massage. Alysha plans on taking additional courses in infant massage and many other courses as they arise.
